After collaborating with Wayne for many years across multiple initiatives, including the design of our proprietary money management strategies, we are pleased to formally welcome him to Reyes Financial Architecture as a member of our Investment Committee, supporting David Reyes and the investment team.
Wayne brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with deep expertise in portfolio risk management. He is the founder of Alpha DNA Investment Management, where he focused on expanding the application of machine learning within the hedged equity space.
Previously, Wayne co-founded ZEGA Financial, a firm dedicated to developing risk-managed investment strategies using options. ZEGA’s founding philosophy was rooted in the principles outlined in the book he co-authored, Buy and Hedge: The Five Iron Rules for Investing Over the Long Term.
Earlier in his career, Wayne spent a decade in the online brokerage sector with TD Ameritrade. As a member of the Senior Operating Committee, he led Business Development initiatives—including mergers and acquisitions and market research—and also oversaw Product Development. He began his career in planning and analytical roles at Fortune 500 insurance and banking institutions.
