Julie graduated from Pennsylvania State University, with distinguished honors in 1997 and began her career with Price Waterhouse, LLP that year specializing in tax and audit. She became a California Real Estate Broker in 2002. David is a distinguished graduate from UCLA’s Personal Financial Planning program and is a graduate of e Wharton Business School in their Retirement Income Planning Certification program. David has also been named 2015 Advisor of the Year by the National Social Security Association (NSSA) for his advocacy to educate retirees on maximizing their retirement income.
David and Julie have been blessed with three wonderful children, Morgan, Taylor and young David Reyes, III. David’s hobbies include Tennis, Church fellowship and spending time with his family.

Sheila grew up in Andover, Massachusetts and graduated from Smith College. After working in Boston for 2 years, she moved to San Diego where she worked for Creative Capital Management Investments as a Paraplanner providing customer service, data analysis, and financial planning research for the firm’s clients. During that time, she successfully obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification which involved rigorous coursework, examination, and ethics requirements.
She joined Reyes in early 2023 as a Financial Advisor and assists in preparing retirement income and financial plans for Reyes’ clients. Sheila’s background and knowledge in the tax, financial planning and income planning side of retirement planning has proven to be a great asset for Reyes and their clients. She is also training to be a California Insurance Advisor as well as an Enrolled Agent (EA).
Sheila and her husband John have a daughter in elementary school, and they enjoy swimming, hiking, and spending time outdoors together as a family. Sheila is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and she volunteers at local nonprofits as a tax preparer and quality reviewer through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
